Motorway driving lessons

Whether we like it or not most of us at some point will find ourselves using motorways on a regular basis, driving on motorways is an entirely different environment from where we learn to drive.

Most newly qualified drivers have little or no experience of high volumes of fast moving traffic, so at first motorway driving can seem quite daunting and to some even frightening.

This is why we recommend that after passing your driving test you consider taking up some motorway lessons.

Our motorway lessons cover the following:

● Route planning
● Joining and leaving the motorway safely
● Lane discipline and safe following distances
● Overtaking safely
● Keeping a safety zone around your vehicle
● Awareness and reaction to other road users
● What to do in an emergency including personal safety
● Adverse weather driving

Our driving instructors have a vast experience of motorway driving and will see by the end of the session you feel both comfortable and confident whilst driving on the motorway.

We prefer to encompass to more challenging motorway network around the Bristol area M32 / M4 junction - M4 / M5 interchange and then the drive south on the M5 practising lane changing at junction 18 Avonmouth and much much more.
